to be honest is not my favourite of foods and that could partially be because I have never been great at working with them cooked. But I intend on giving them more of a chance as I have seen posts claiming them to be the healthiest food in the world and men’s Viagra – not that I am a manJ.

Celery is a great choice if you are watching your weight due to being so low in calories, reduces inflammation can help you calm down with the minerals contained within especially magnesium, It regulates the body’s alkaline balance to counter balance the large amount of acidity the modern lifestyle means we consume and aids digestion to name only some of celery benefits. Celery is loaded with Vitamin A, has vitamin C, B6, calcium and traces of iron.

They can be eaten raw, put into salads or cooked into stir-fry’s, soups and casseroles; the leaves can also be eaten but are mostly used as garnish.

  • Smear stalk of celery with peanut butter; crunchy is best and serve.
